A tool I use EVERY DAY is JitBit Autotext. This is a free tool for personal use.
I store and save my safelist REFERRAL IDs in JitBit Autotext for quick access, and so it is not painful to find them.
I created a standard set of rules for storage of different advertising assets, and I wanted to make it easy to remember. My shortcuts for Referral IDs (also called Affiliate IDs) all start with a-, then the shortened safelist name (case sensitive). For example:
a-comm
is replaced with
https://commissionsunleashed.com/index.php?r=richardmoyer
My Shortcut Rules:
- a-name = affiliate ID
- g-name = program name
- guname = affilate URL
- t-name = subject
- s-name = text ad copy
- shname = html ad copy
- b-name = 468x60 banner URL
- f-name = 125x125 button URL
- h-name = login ad 600x300 URL
When I adopt a new program to promote, after creating my essential marketing components, I take 5 MINUTES to build out my Jitbit shortcuts.
Some Other Important Keywords I Use
When selecting your keywords, For frequently used keywords, I selected 3 letter keywords that are centered around the center of the qwerty keyboard

- mmm - primary email
- nnn - secondary email
- bbb - paypal email
- eee - my name

- jjj - html for URL that opens in new tab
Here are some that save me tons of time and eliminate copying/pasting

- c1 - broadcast title
- c2 - broadcast copy text
- c3 - broadcast copy html
And finally, these are absolutely essential for promotions with safelist solo ads and credit mails
- c4 - today's promotion subject

- c6 - today's promotion ad body html
- c7 - today's promotion URL
Organizing Your Shortcuts
The Jitbit app allows you to create folders so you can group your shortcuts. I suggest a COUPLE folders works better that TOO MANY, for example, Projects, Phrases, MISC.
You can duplicate or move shortcuts between folders, but be sure to give duplicated entries a different keyword. BE CAREFUL NOT TO HAVE DUPLICATE KEYWORDS or you may get unexpected results!!!
With these shortcuts, I save tons of time, and always have instant access to my most used advertising assets and most-typed phrases.
By the way, Jitbit allows you to save and restore your Autotext database to a XML file, where it can be saved by your backup software. There are also TXT and CSV export options but I have found them as consistently dependable, so I recommend XML exports. I create an export after adding every major program.
