Did You Know You Can Turn a YouTube Playlist Into a Podcast? Game Changer!

I just stumbled on a pretty awesome YouTube feature — you can turn any playlist into a podcast feed. 🤯
So of course, I had to try it. I created a playlist called Rich Moyer's Traffic Deals Newsletters and added all the videos that line up with the topics I talk about in my own email newsletters.

And then it hit me…

A lot of people want this kind of content, but life gets busy. Not everyone has time to sit down and watch video after video for hours — but almost all of us have drive time or moments where our hands are busy but our ears are free.

Back in my corporate days I was always on the road, constantly traveling. My secret weapon? Books on tape.
(Yes… tape. That should tell you how far back I go!)
Then I upgraded to CDs, then digital audio, and now everything is instant on your phone.

So why not do the same with YouTube?

Just pop on a playlist-turned-podcast while you're driving, commuting, walking, or standing in line at the grocery store. Those long drives I used to take — sometimes 2–3 hours at a time — became my personal learning university. I tore through audiobooks like crazy.

Now you can do the same with your favorite video content.

And here’s another little travel hack I used all the time: I kept a tiny sound recorder with me so I could take notes without taking my eyes off the road. Today? Every smartphone has this built in. Just tap the microphone and say:

“Note to self…”

Boom — instant audio note.

If you hear something in a “podcasted” playlist that you want to come back to later, just make a quick audio note and look it up when you're back at your computer. It’s effortless.

This feature basically turns YouTube into a hands-free educational library — perfect for busy people who still want to learn, grow, and stay in the loop.

If you'd like, I can help you turn this into a full email broadcast, social post, newsletter segment, or even create a graphic to go with it.
