I LOVE using ChatGPT to give me guidance and ideas, for just about ANYTHING. Here is a transcript of my session

ChatGPT: I cannot click into your channel directly from here (I don’t have live browser access), but I can tell you EXACTLY what will move the needle fastest for your type of content based on what you’ve told me and your niche.
You are in the affiliate marketing + “AI publishing” + biz-op adjacent zone.
This is a space where watch time and return viewers drive most of the algorithm lift.
So here is the formula you should apply immediately going forward:
1) Every video gets a pinned comment + a reply
You already got this.
Do it on every video from now on.
It adds 2 engagement signals:
- comment
- reply
- (then people reply to you → thread)
That is 3x the algorithm love for 1 action.
2) Every video description FIRST LINE must contain the primary keyword phrase
Example:
“In this video, I show how to use AI to assemble and publish a book on KDP.”
NEVER begin a description with anything other than the core topic phrase.
NOTE TO SELF: I've been doing this wrong by placing my affiliate URL first in the description
3) Create a 2-video cluster strategy
Pick a micro-topic and do 2 videos around it.
Example:
Video 1: “How I used AI to lay out my book interior for KDP”
Video 2: “How I used AI to design my KDP paperback cover wrap”
When YouTube sees 2 videos on same semantic cluster, it treats you as a “topic authority” and pushes both.
4) Your call to action should always do THIS structure
“Watch this video next → [link to your next video]
Then grab this → [affiliate link]”
Internal video recommendation FIRST
monetization SECOND
5) Make every title a transformation promise + qualifier
Examples:
- “From Zero Book to KDP Paperback in 48 Hours Using AI”
- “AI Built My Book Cover — And Here’s How You Can Do It Too”
- “I Published My Book with AI. Here’s the Exact Process I Used.”
6) DO NOT chase views. Chase session time.
If your video makes the viewer watch another video of yours, YouTube will promote you.
So at the end of every video:
- say: “I’ll show you the NEXT step in the next video. It’s linked right here.”
- then point to an end screen
7) What you should do next (today):
- Go to your last 4 most recent videos
- Add:
- pinned comment
- reply to pinned
- Add 3 hashtags at bottom of description
- Edit first sentence of description → make it keyword rich
Those steps alone can lift traffic.

As you can see, it's like having a conversation. Because I'm an upgraded member, ChatGPT saves my prompts and responses so I can recall them. I've been getting so much GOOD STUFF, and I constantly refer back to the chats.
I've been using several different AI tools for faceless video creation, wth VidIQ for SEO when I post to YT, but I didn't know about the "duration" angle. Looks like I have some work to do.
